work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work.
(I love how words lose all meaning after you say them enough)
But yes, I've been working a lot. At least I'm getting to play at the same time and enjoying my favorite time of year for a whole month rather than just one day. This madness is going to last all through october.....but I have...

how's work going?
I saw my sweetums, armyofrobots off early this morning for his week-long trip to vegas. I was originally supposed to come along but I just couldn't afford the fare. So sad. Of course it's not like I don't have plenty to do at home. I just love to travel and haven't been able to go anywhere since a year and a half ago when I...

Mee too. I like to move around. If I can't move from place to place I at least like to move my furniture (Which I haven't been able to do in the last 2 years, so it sucks).

you shuld definitely get out of Florida...I am visiting at the end of the year I believe
I will paint you for $20
This isn't something that I normally do. In fact commissions go for a bit more (at least twice as much depending on the time spent on a piece) but I reaaallly need money right now. In fact, the offer only stands until September 5th, so hurry and get your requests in asap!

You are really really talented so I will want to do that - just give me a little time to figure out whose pic to send you. That's a very generous offer on your part. As for your comment on my page, the LHC is the Large Hadron Collider, the world's largest particle accelerator complex located at the border of France and Switzerland. It's 17 miles long! When they run their first real tests in October it's either going to confirm some theories about particle physics or blow up the entire known universe (so I better get my art work oder in before the universe blows up). Great to see you again.

I would love to have you paint me. Is it possible to do it with my face and like a really hot curvaceous body? would I have the painting physically or is it through e-mail?
Webcomic! Up! Now!

I can't even tell you the amount of frustration the creation of that site brought me.....at least I finally figured out CSS. How I loved when the simple rules to CSS finally came together and actually made sense. I just don't understand why none of the online tut's actually explained it as plainly and simply as it...

Very cool - nice job!
What a coincidence, Discovery channel, I'm having my shark week too!
(which may explain my need to rant endlessly about the unimportant)
While eating a bowl of life cereal this morning, flipping through the friday entertainment section of the local paper I saw something that both made me laugh and die a little on the inside. The new mummy movie - which at the moment...

by "this town" i meant "orlando," though i do try to ignore the media here too. it is pretty awful.

Well they claim that because of the writer's strike there was a big delay in the production (which is BS actually. The movies in post production already, it's practically done.) They're worried that the movie won't be ready before the release date.
Now if they absolutely have to push the release date back some, why wait 'til freakin' July?!!! They could easily do it in December, or at the most, Spring of 2009. But JULY?!!! That's like the Hotbed of the Summer Movie Season! Just because Dark Knight did well doesn't mean Potter has the same chances. It's just ridiculous on their part.

You sure your expectations are too high? Or everyone else just isn't what you want really?
I've been trying out traditional arts recently. Oil painting has become my newly favorite medium. True, digital painting may be a bit easier on many levels but I just don't find it as rewarding. Something about just jumping in there and getting your hands dirty makes it all that much better.
It is probably because of that rewarding feeling that I've been slow to sell...

How does "This American Life" always make me cry like a baby and laugh so hard in such a short period of time just about every time I listen?
Why can't they have stuff that good on television?
......I mean other than tv version of "This American Life"

What if I sold everything?
Well, more precisely everything in my storage unit.
I moved back in with my parents about a year ago when my brother moved out of his room and I left my husband at about the same time. Things really aren't bad living with the parents again because I have enough space to not feel an immediate need to get a...

I think that's an excellent idea. I do it all of the time. I just like to reinvent a space, but i'll keep something if I feel there's something special about it, like this vintage couch i had that could seat 8 people comfortably next to each other. I had that for a bit, but moving was sometimes a pain.

Clear the old stuff, it'll be a nice little saving nest for when you do decide to move out and buy brand new things thats YOURS. Plus youll save loads not having it all in storage
